    USA sets new mark with World Series hat-trick

    The 2018 Softball World Series, the 20th edition of the annual event, was held on the weekend of 8-9 September at the Imperial College Heston Venue in Cranford, and records were set for the number of national teams in attendance and the first-ever hat-trick of wins.

    NSL Nationals won by Pioneers, Mavs and Misfits

    Great softball, close games, perfect weather, exhilarating finals and a record number of “ladybombs” (over-the-fence home runs by women) were the hallmarks of the 2018 British Softball Federation NSL National Championships on the weekend of 1-2 September at Farnham Park.

    MI6 capture top title at Edinburgh for the second straight year

    Twenty-eight teams contested the 2018 Edinburgh Festiball Tournament over the weekend of 25-26 August, with MI6 from London winning the top title for the second year in a row with a 7-1 win over the Manchester Lions in the Grand Final.

    Ducks, Pyros and Rattlesnakes win at Nationals

    Miraculously, the forecast rain held off all weekend on 11-12 August, and the 2018 BSF Co-ed Slowpitch League National Championships, with 20 teams taking part, were played on schedule at Farnham Park, climaxing in finals on Sunday for Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions.

    Riccione: a platform for things to come?
