Fastpitch softball will wake from the Christmas break this weekend with Adult Indoor League games on Saturday, January 10, and Softball Academy and GB Team training sessions on Sunday, January 11.

Seven teams sign up for 2009 European Slowpitch Cup

As of the registration deadline of December 31, 2008, seven teams from six countries had signed up for the 2009 European Slowpitch Cup. If those entries hold, it will become the ESF's largest slowpitch competition to date.

Craig Montvidas to coach Dutch National Team for the second time

Former GB Women's Team Head Coach Craig Montvidas has accepted a four-year contract to coach the Dutch National Team, starting early in the new year. Craig coached the GB Women from 2004 until UK Sport funding was withdrawn in 2007.

Dutch club to host men's slowpitch and women's fastpitch tournaments together in May

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Dutch baseball and softball club Zeeuwse Honk is staging a recreational women's fastpitch tournament and a men's slowpitch tournament on May 30-31, 2009.
